What it is
Collecting is more fun with someone to ask. Companion pairs you with an experienced volunteer collector through Choice Mentors, opens up our community, and adds a staff check of the certs on your portal items.
Who it's for
Adult collectors (18+) who are new to the hobby or new to a category and want guidance from people who've been there.
What you get
- Mentor pairing in a moderated thread, visible to you, your mentor and our staff
- Community Q&A and Tips, Tricks & Trades, short lessons from experienced collectors
- Virtual Collector Night Coming soon
- Staff verification of cert numbers and published details on your portal items
How it works
- Command: tell us your interests and request a mentor.
- Oversee: learn in your mentor thread and the community; your items move through review in the portal.
- Optimize: take what you learn back into your collection and your College progress.
What's not included
Valuations, buy or sell advice, or any transaction with your mentor. Mentors never buy from, sell to or trade with mentees.
