# Photo guide (link from step 5 and from every item page) Good photos = faster review. 8 photos max, JPEG/PNG/WebP, under 8 MB each. Phone cameras are fine.
Light: daylight near a window or two lamps at 45° from each side. Turn the flash off. Flash causes glare on slabs and sleeves and hides details. Background: plain, dark cloth for coins; plain light surface for cards/comics. No patterns. Focus: hold the phone parallel to the item, tap to focus, fill the frame. No zoom; move closer instead. Glare check: tilt the slab slightly until the reflection slides off the label and surface. Retake if you can't read the label.

Don'ts: no flash · no fingers covering labels · don't remove items from slabs or sleeves · don't clean coins (it lowers value).
